Warranty & Return Policy

Standard Warranty Policy

All products sold by iVigil Corporation carry limited 2-year warranty, or otherwise specified per certain product, from the invoice date or shipping date. Some accessories carry original manufactures warranty (i.e hard drives, monitors...etc.). During the warranty period, iVigil Corporation will either repair or replace the defective product providing there is no evidence of customer misuse or alteration, and subject to the conditions and limitations stated herein. Cutting the original camera power or video cable, reguardless if camera worked directly afterwards will void warranty.

In the event of warranty claim, the customer must promptly notify iVigil Corporation of any manufacturing defect. The Customer shall make arrangement for the delivery of the defective product to iVigil Corporation for diagnosis regarding the cause of the failure. In the event that iVigil Corporation is unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable amount of time, a refund of the purchase price less shipping charge will be made.

This warranty is conditional upon the installation, operation, and maintenance of the product in accordance with iVigil Corporation's recommendation and standard industry practice.  The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling or installation of the product.  This warranty fully covers and manufacturing defects regarding the physical and internal components of our products. iVigil Corporation's maximum liability under this warranty shall be limited to the dollar amount the customer has paid for the defective product excluding shipping.

The repair or replacement of the defective product shall constitute complete fulfillment of iVigil Corporation's warranty liability whether the warranty claims are based on contract, tort (including negligence and strict liability), or otherwise. There are no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, and all warranties arising from course of dealing and usage of trade. Under no circumstances, shall iVigil corporation and related parties be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Return Policy

iVigil Corporation offers a thirty (30) days money back guarantee. If the customer is not satisfied with the product, it can be returned within thirty days from the date of purchase (invoice date) for a full refund, excluding the shipping charge. All returns subject to the standard 15% restocking fee. NO REFUND WILL BE OFFERED IF PRODUCT IS NOT RETURNED AND RECEIVED BY IVIGIL WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM INVOICE DATE. You must request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) online at You must include a printed copy of the RMA form with your return shipment. Do not mark anything on the original box or packaging material.  You must have the original packaging for a full refund; if you are missing any part of the product packaging you are subject to a 20% (twenty percent) restocking fee.  This return policy will not apply to the defects or damages resulting from customer's misuse, alteration, modification, negligence, or inadequate maintenance.

Advance replacement products are new or like-new refurbished products that carry full original equipment warranty (from original invoice date). Upon customer’s request, iVigil Corporation will send advance replacement product to replace defective equipment that has failed upon initial installation for up to 45 days from the original invoice date. iVigil will ship advance replacements via “ground” shipment service within next business day or the first available day. Customer is responsible for cost and freight of advance replacement product. iVigil will provide return label with instructions on returning the defective product.

Upon receipt, iVigil RMA department will evaluate the returned product to determine whether it is under-warranty or out-of-warranty replacement. After evaluation, if iVigil determines the return product is under normal warranty, full credit of advance replacement will be issued to customer’s account as store credit. 

If iVigil determines the returned product is out-of-warranty, or still under warranty but in good working condition, or the questionable performance issues were due to improper installation, misuse, abuse, or other user-related causes, iVigil will send the returned product back to customer. Under these circumstances, if customer chooses to have iVigil to keep the returned products, iVigil will assess a restocking fee based on the condition of returned unit, and issue the remaining credit to customer account as store credit. Credit can either be a refund or store credit, at our discretion. Refunds will be made in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. Store credit is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. After 90 days, unused store credit is forfeited.  iVigil is not liable for items left at our location for over 60 days.

Technical support

iVigil Corporation will provide technical support by phone, email and web only for the products sold by iVigil. For IT and networking issues, iVigil can only assist in the identification of which issue may be preventing communication while using an iVigil product. Full resolution of networking difficulties often external IT resources to be contacted and may require networking reconfiguration. Solutions to networking blocking problems can only be suggested by iVigil and iVigil can not assist in their implementation.  iVigil Corporation does not provide technical support to the end user and exceptions are only made with prior notification from the authorized iVigil Vendor (purchaser) of our products.

Legal Status of Products & Services

Customer takes full responsibility to ascertain and comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws in regard to the profession and use of any product purchased from iVigil Corporation. By placing an order, the customer agrees to use the product only in a lawful manner, and signifies the agreement of these terms and conditions. iVigil Corporation assumes no liability associated with product usage.
