How to connect via Android

Connection options vary depending on your firmware version. Before proceeding we need to determine what firmware version your DVR is running.

1) Press the menu button on the front of your DVR and enter the main menu from the initial screen.  Scroll to the bottom right icon ” Diagnostic ” and click select (enter).  You will now see your firmware version.

 

Instructions for Firmware Version Versions  2.*.* (starting with 2)

1) Open the standard browser installed on your Android phone usually named ” Internet “.

2) Go to the address bar at the top of your browser and type in http://[your public ip]:[dvr port]/mobile.html

For example, my URL would look like this: http://71.155.187.151:5400/mobile.html

You can determine your public ip by going to www.whatismyip.net

3) You must now enter your DVR username and password.  Click OK and you should now be viewing your DVR!  To change camera channels select camera 1-16 in the drop down menu.

Instructions for Firmware Version Versions  1.*.* (starting with 1)

1) Go into the main menu of your android phone and click settings.  Select applications from the settings menu and put a check in the “Unknown Sources” box.  Click the back button to exit and save changes.

2) Open the standard browser installed on your Android phone usually named ” Internet “.

3) Go to the address bar at the top of your browser and type in http://[your public ip]:[dvr-port]

For example, my URL would look like this: http://71.155.187.151:5400

You can determine your public ip by going to www.whatismyip.net

4) You should see one option, Select Android Viewer (2.0 or above)

5) Our application ” Bubo Bubo ” will now download onto your phone, once it has download click the file name ” dvr_x11-2.apk ” and select install.

6) Now that the App has been installed, select your main menu and click ” Bubo Bubo “.

7) From the main screen, select New, type the name for your DVR, enter the IP, port, username, and password.  Then select h264 and select save.

8) You should now see your DVR in the list, select the newly added DVR then you will get several options at the bottom, select Login.  You should now be viewing your cameras!

Hi,
I have a IV-R0454 firmware 1.0.3 build 86. Using Android i cannot connect with Bubo Bubo. First when I connct using internet browser (Already ticked unknow scources on phone) it asks for login and password then goes to 5 options, no option to download bubo bubo. I download bubo bubo from online market and after setting up i still get unknown error. I can watch on another pc over internet through dvr remote desktop but nothing throuh mobile. I believe maybe multiplexor firmware ?
Can you help.
